The Beginning

Death is not sunset;

death is sunrise

for children of the day.

Death is the end of darkness,

the beginning of light,

the beginning of seeing,

of knowing.



Death is the end of dying

for children of the day,

the beginning of living,

of loving face to face,

of walking hand in hand

with the light

of life.
